AWAY NOVEMBER 4TH – DECEMBER 4TH

Hello dear friends, readers, and wondrous human beings!

Thank you so much for being with me in this most writing-intimate journey of my life!

Tomorrow, (technically today), I am headed away to Sangre de Cresto mountain range in southern Colorado to live in a cabin for the month of November.

As of yesterday, Monday the 2nd, I ended an adult-foster care live-in position, which was intense.

Tomorrow, November the 4th I will begin my solitary 1 month retreat in a cabin without running water or electricity. It will be cold and I will eat minimally. But there is wood for fire and water will be provided every 1 – 2 weeks.

I sincerely look forward to catching up with all of you when I return ๐Ÿ™‚

All of the writings for November were written on November 3rd throughout the entire day in a friend’s apartment in Denver Colorado. I woke up and wrote, took a break for lunch and a walk, came back and wrote, and wrote until he came home. He was home for 2 hours and when he left I continued to write – until now.

I want to express: I appreciate you all so much and your presence and contribution to being a part of my life!

I offer you to please enjoy these writings and to enjoy writings from the past months, for there is a tremendous amount of writing here ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you thank you thank you /\

  1. Dear Orpheus…I just redid my site and am working out the bugs, after a long time of neglect. In doing so, I saw many likes from you that went ignored. We seem to have a bunch of things i common, but I wanted to let you know I appreciated your letting me know the things you liked. I’m sorry it went unnoticed. Your site by the way has a real nice clean feel to it. Are you still posting?

    1. Slowly returning. It appears “making it out alive” is relative. I lived in a cabin for 1 1/2 years away from everything in the mountains, but I’ve been back in society for a year and slowly I’m taking a stab at wordpress again, here today; I just published a new manuscript.

I might do bulk publishing, where work comes out not so often, but in a large quantity all at once. Enjoy! Thank you, tremendously for writing!

      1. Interesting. What was on your reading list while there in the cabin?

I look forward to seeing some more of your writing. I understand the appeal but it is also a curiosity when somebody isolates himself in a cabin.
