Knocking On Autumn’s Door

home for
beams’ laughter
rattling cages, wage
wattling-pictures to
find-door-handle
how much weight,
before plank falls
to shark infested
waters below a
drink from a
glass of faucet
walls off a
drip into palm
fed glass mantle
piece deer head
on head of
human walks round
zeros and sends
corners searching for
their rights riddled
with lightning speed
switches deliver un-ditched
sweaters still worn
on un-born desires
hunting for their
wine cellar cello
yellow melting September
